Excellent Corrosion Resistance:
In oxidizing and neutral media, a uniform and dense oxide film will quickly form on the surface of titanium. This oxide film can prevent further penetration of oxygen molecules, effectively protecting its internal structure from the influence of oxidation, thus endowing it with good corrosion resistance. For example, in oxidizing media such as the atmosphere, seawater, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid, the corrosion resistance of titanium and titanium alloy seamless pipes is superior to that of most stainless steels.
In environments containing corrosive media such as chloride ions, like the seawater environment, titanium alloy seamless pipes can also exhibit excellent corrosion resistance. High Specific Strength:
Specific strength refers to the ratio of the tensile strength of a material to its density.
