“This redesign was an opportunity to merge functionality with cultural expression. Drawing inspiration from the palm trees across the compound and the hostel's role as both student accommodation and a corporate retreat, I developed a concept that blends Bauhaus simplicity with vernacular African design. Key elements included customized motifs for linens and uniforms, locally inspired ceramics for the grounds and reception, and a palette that reflects warmth, identity, and comfort
