Project Background
Unusual seen on usual. In a
tropical country, Japanese
simplicity and Scandinavian
functionality can also thrive.
The high regard for natural
components is synonymous
between the Japandi style and a
Filipino house design approach.
Hence, it may work wonderfully
combined with the soothing
warmth of the mentioned
minimalism trend. The two-story house, which sits on a 300 square meter corner
lot, contains three bedrooms, a personal office, an open plan
kitchen, a dining space, and a living area.
Floor Plan
A simple open layout plan. House welcomes a sunken receiving area to an open layout from the living, dining, and kitchen area. Added are semi-private spaces, like the office and the service area. On the 2nd floor, all private spaces or rooms are placed here with a large family area for leisure.

The home, in all of its majesty, is situated in a picturesque mountainside neighborhood. For a delightful sight, landscaping was dispersed around the vicinity adding to the pleasing canvas. With the obvious ones from any vantage point, the green stripe bamboos. And also added interest with its resident naked tree, which is at its splendor charm when it blooms.
Interior Renderings
Capture the primitiveness of Scandinavia and the elegance of Asia to the nines. The comfy beige modern L-shaped sofa dominates the area design story over a langsted tan low pile rug. Rest snugly with a smooth plush, matched with the twinning circula small coffee table and circula low side table from Blu Dot, under the offering of a prominent architectural book and dried pampas.
3D White Model(Photo)
In the soothing tones of warm gray, and beige against the backdrop of ivory walls and earth-toned brown floor, the collected outcome creates the everso-classy nature of Japandi. Adding to the ensemble, the first in line to be introduced from the collection is the stylish spherical origami floor lamp, made with durable and flexible washi paper supported by steady blonde maple woodwork, a true reflection of Japanese culture. Stands on the right side, the lamp is both decorative and functional.
The way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, through a
kitchen. In another illustration of simplicity, the contemporary white
and wood combo still reigns in the galley-style layout kitchen.
Keeping it delightful with the white marble, blankets the freestanding
kitchen island, contrasts with the varnished cabinetry against
the black accents of the appliances and fixtures. Minimal details,
uncomplicated layout, and tidy appearance are just a few features laid
out.
The
freestanding island is undeniably the
real MVP of the kitchen, the Most
Valuable Part. Clad in calacatta white
marble in a waterfall edge style, lighted
by a black modern led acrylic hanging
lamp, providing various functions.
One of which is the cleaning area
which sets on the left side offers a
black subline silgranit sink paired with
a black PVD-coated stainless-steel
faucet while a sheer drapes billows
from it, a hint of a natural air breezing
in.
The area stays neutral as it amplifies minimalism. Graces in the cleanest white and natural color of wood, that simple. In the wondrous of wood, the area serves the main course with a table in its simplistic form in beech species ringed with octet Herman Miller full twist chair in champagne maple with upholstered Kalista textile by Mark Goetz. Set against the wood frame of the glass sliding doors and windows, giving a lovely view from the outside, intended as a decorative backdrop.
Adding relish to the entre is the
bundle of shaggy golden dried natural
wheat sheave clasp in a contemporary
Nordic ceramic vase, displayed as
the centerpiece. Topping off the
presentation of the main course with
a taste is the a la mode barrel origami
pendant, accompanying the sun in
illuminating the idyllic gathering space.
With its sun-kissed setting, the zone
makes it the perfect spot to basks
up in a golden hour before the daily
grind.
The realm exhibits
an ethereal Zen-like vista,
flood with a therapeutic
material of wood from
ceiling and floor made out
respectively with GRM
composite roofing in
spotted gum and durable
solid wood deck in larch
species. Mesh with the
soothing freshness color
of white and stressreducing horsetail plant
in linear facing the area.

A modern interpretation of the lower
leveled Japanese-style entryway,
keeping the home in pristine condition.
Design for footwear purposes while also
providing aesthetic pleasure. Strangely,
the most functional area serves as a
threshold between indoor and outdoor,
dedicated to receiving dirt from the
outside. At present, the zone plays a
critical responsibility, a viable usage
for safety etiquette such as sanitation
and disinfection, prevention from
getting infected.
Stair: The Stunner. Mesmerized with its simplicity,
Grounded in a tone alike with its surroundings.
Furnish with a steel cantilevered tread firmly,
Concealed with a narra species, timber cladding.
Bolstered with a glass wall in the middle,
Screwed with two standoff pins on each tread.
All laid above on a bed of snow-white pebbles,
With the twig under the landing, embedded.
Awed with a window that goes above and beyond,
Permits the picturesque nature to become closer.
The master bedroom goes
symmetrically, as built. Introducing
a textured accent wall of wood
slats, almost completely covering
the surface. Prop beneath the
immaculate white plane that casually
extended from one side to the other.
Two pendant lights, plugs, and wall mounted white bedside table were
uniformly distributed from each
side of the room, with the bed in
the center.
The bedroom that
fascinates on the
transitions of slatted
and seamless wood
is the most playful of
all. The alternating of
the strips then a sleek
board is probably the
highlight of the room.
Playful yet stylish. It’s all
about clean lines match
with sinuous furniture
and fixtures.
The bedroom takes on an enigmatic
touch attributed to the uncommon
piece combinations. On the left side
of the bed, a large minimalist abstract
picture reclines on the small section
of slats enhanced with a cove light.
While, a Nordic natural wood circular
log stool tree stump in creative usage
graces as a bedside table, continuing
the play on illusions. The sisal almond
rug slightly dampens the heavy
undertone of the flooring, making the
area feel airier.
The
bathroom traverses in a sleek presentation.
Bathed in a desert-like color palette, making
one of the house’s smallest rooms feel more
spacious. It embraces wall-mounted fixtures
from the vanity, toilet, and other accessories,
on the gleaming surfaces of the fair white walls,
textural slats, and a mirror. Together with the
matte cream tile sets the tone for the entire
room.
The protagonist of this design tale is
the creative mirror that stretches from floor to ceiling. A story like
a strange monolith arose in the desert, the mastermind behind the
illusion of making the space appear larger, floating behind the other
surfaces thanks to its backlight. It’s juxtaposed with the wood slat
wall with the wall-mounted vanity, aligned with two contrasting
materials: the basin and the solid wood drawer.
