Project Background
The gift area of this case is large, the original building area is 89 square meters, and the actual completion is 121 square meters. The main problem with the original floor plan of the first floor is that the steps of the stairs are narrow and the depth of each step is only 22cm, which is not comfortable enough to go up and down the stairs. Moreover, part of the kitchen is under the stairs, and the two platforms also cause this space to be short, and the kitchen utilization rate is not high.
Interior Renderings
The sliding door was removed between the living room and the balcony on the first floor, and the blinds outside the balcony to adjust the light also made the space more open. The suspended TV cabinet is also extended with a beveled angle according to the beveled angle of the wall. The dark green wall at the end is used as the embellishment of the whole space, and it is also the favorite color of the heroine.
A small part of the dining room is used to make a sideboard in the depression behind the bathroom, which increases the storage space. There is no obvious area division between the dining room and the living room, and the arrangement of soft furnishings is also restrained.
Since the space on the first floor is relatively cramped, but there are many functions in the space, the designer planned from the starting point of how to expand the sense of space. On the one hand, the depth of each step of the stairs after the original stairs was removed was adjusted to the minimum standard depth of 26cm. At the same time, the steps are made into drawers to supplement the shortage of shoe cabinet storage, and the platform part of the original staircase is also removed
After entering the door and past the foyer, there is a space connecting the bedroom, dining room, kitchen and stairwell. Three chamfered corners are made here to ensure enough openness of this space.
There are many beams on the top of the restaurant and aisle. In the original design plan, these beams were flattened, so that the overall effect would be better. In actual operation, the owner was afraid that he would be depressed and hung half, which is a pity. The chalkboard paint on the walls extends into the foyer, making this piece a whole.
On the other hand, try to open the kitchen as much as possible, but the owner does not want an open kitchen, so the designer changed the partition wall between the kitchen and the stairs to half glass partition and glass sliding door. In this way, the kitchen, the staircase and the dining and living room are connected rather than separate spaces. Visually expand the sense of space. After the renovation, the space under the stairs is much higher
The entrance of the downstairs elderly room is angled, so the position of the locker is arranged on the side of the bedside wall, so that the entrance can be opened up, and the combination of wardrobe and bedside table increases the storage space.
