The Velvet Nails & Beauty Salon is a comprehensive architectural and interior design study for a commercial space located at Piraeus, Greece. Developed in 2024 by the Maria-Anna Chrysovergi Architecture & Design Studio, the project transforms an 89.79 sqm ground-floor area into a high-end wellness destination.
Floor Plan
The floor plan for Velvet Nails & Beauty Salon covers a total area of 89.79 sqm. It is designed as a deep, linear space that strategically organizes various beauty services into a flow that moves from public to private zones.
Interior Renderings
The first view of Velvet Nails & Beauty Salon reveals a sophisticated, linear layout designed for a high-end client experience. From the entrance, the space flows past a modern reception desk into a brightly lit manicure station featuring a long, white workstation and blue velvet chairs. To the right, a vertical slat partition offers semi-privacy to a raised pedicure deck with plush teal armchairs. Warm recessed spotlights and an architectural linear pendant create an inviting "velvet" glow.

The interior features a high-end, neutral palette. The Manicure Area utilizes a long linear pendant for task lighting over a sleek white workstation with blue velvet chairs.
Manicure Station: A dedicated linear workstation with integrated storage and specialized lighting for precision work.
The Pedicure Area consists of a raised oak-finished deck with three plush teal armchairs, integrated foot basins, and individual gold globe lamps. Vertical slats provide semi-privacy for the lounge, while warm spotlights create a soft, inviting glow.
Manicure Station: A dedicated linear workstation with integrated storage and specialized lighting for precision work.
The bathroom continues this "velvet" aesthetic with stone-textured tiles, an arched mirror, and a minimalist oak vanity.
The storefront for Velvet Nails & Beauty Salon in Piraeus presents a striking, modern facade that balances geometric precision with organic softness. The design is defined by two elegant, asymmetrical arched glass entries that invite natural light and offer a transparent view into the warm, sophisticated interior.
