Floor Plan
THE FLOOR PLAN, was already in place and our job was to include expertly detailed finishes into it. To homogenize the space, we used a timber look porcelain tile in the majority of the rooms. The bedrooms were carpeted both in the floor and wall finishes to make them cosy and warm to the touch
Interior Renderings
The Entrance Hall provided a warm earthy welcome into the space, with a pivot door and a mix of colors being provided by the natural brick tones and the stucco white finishes
extending the earthy color palette, we went on to design a suspended ceiling with a dark earthy brown to add gravity to the space and weight it , thereby providing the users and opportunity to wind down and relax
The Lounge and Kitchen are open plan in nature. We used the similar ceiling design to unify the space, but wall finishes , rugs and furniture were used to break that unified space into separate functions, intuitively without the use of physical demarcations
the semi modern, semi rustic kitchen , is the anchor point of the two lounges , providing a space to sit and enjoy a morning breakfast, where as bigger dinners are to be had in the dining room adjacent
the main bedroom, due to its size was demarcated using a clear glass partition, which subtly , and not overtly demarcates the space, allowing two separate functions in the bedroom, a sleeping area, and a lounging area
the ample walk in closet , creates sufficient and cozy space for a variety of functions, such as clothes storage, mirror dressing and shoes
