Project Background
This project started in June 2021 when Luxe Linen decided to build their flagship store in Lusaka Zambia.
Project Concept
The concept involved blending modern aesthetics with African style. The store featured a spacious layout with clean lines and minimalistic furniture, complemented by African motifs and vibrant accents. Large windows and strategic lighting enhanced the ambiance, while illuminated signage modernized the store and interactive displays provided a contemporary touch.
Floor Plan
The luxury bedding retail store was designed to create an immersive and upscale shopping experience. The floor plan is thoughtfully organized to showcase the high-end products, encourage exploration, and provide customers with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The layout prioritizes aesthetic appeal, functionality, and customer flow.
Interior Renderings
Welcome Desk: A stylish welcome desk with a friendly concierge to greet customers and provide assistance.
Open Floor Plan: An open floor plan that allows for easy navigation and visibility of products. Zoning: Different zones for various types of products (e.g., bedding sets, pillows, mattresses, bedroom furniture).
Seating Area: A comfortable lounge with plush seating, coffee table, and magazines where customers can relax while considering their purchases.
Display Area: Immediately inside the entrance, an elegantly arranged display area featuring scented candles, diffuser sets and room mists to capture customer interest.
Beds: Multiple luxury beds set up to showcase different bedding collections. Each bed is dressed in the store's finest linens, pillows, and duvets. Wall Displays: Shelving along the walls to showcase a wide range of pillows, pillowcases, and sheets. Each item is clearly labeled and accessible.
Project Photos (Design Landed)
This is the finished reception area of the store carefully displaying the signage, colour scheme and combination of materials.
This is the finished accessories display located in from of the reception desk close to the main entrance.
A glass partition was used to allow light movement as well as visibility from outside the store
Illuminated 3d signage was incorporated in between shelves to break monotony.
Soft, warm ambient lighting throughout the store to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
